The Psycherelics began as a few good friends getting together some three plus years ago in my living room to jam. When it became apparent that there was a little magic in the air, we decided to formally become a band. With a list of about a dozen songs, the use of the basement at the home of Curt's mother, and a six-pack or two, we were off and running. Without ever having a specific plan or mission statement, we naturally leaned towards putting our own spin on classic rock, R&B and blues tunes that we all had always wanted to do. Each member has not only contributed song ideas and arrangements, but has also imprinted his personality upon the group. Reflective of the close-knit friendship that has continued to evolve, not only are we there for each other musically, but in dealing with life's many bumps and curves too. While we continue to grow as musicians within a band, we all have derived an incredible amount of satisfaction growing as a family. We truly hope that you have as much fun dancing and listening as we have in learning and playing.
